LIGHT IN THE EYES! – the most important commandment of Carlo's courses.

Carlo has been teaching clowning courses for beginners and professionals since 2005 in different countries of the world. He has the gift of selecting the key to each personality and helping people open up. He gives a lot, the classes are very intense, he is demanding and calls for discipline. But at the same time, he treats his students with extreme care. His courses are really about serious work with yourself and amazing valuable discoveries. He opened his clown Academy in Barcelona in 2011 and it existed till 2022.

Now Carlo has his own creative space open to anyone who wants to play, learn and grow as a clown. This is a beautiful small theatre near Barcelona, that welcomes everyone who wants to create. Carlo gives small and large workshops and trainings for small and big groups, and also individual classes of clowning. He always says he prefers performing to teaching, but in fact he is a unique teacher. Maybe that’s why students are always looking for opportunities to learn from him.

He teaches courses of different lengths to investigate and delve into the physical and gestural clown, emphasizing the inhabited Clown, the emotional body, the clown micro worlds, amplification, containment and clown time.

Supported by the priority of innocence, madness and emotions, we know the intellectual, emotional and visceral motors, learning where and how they affect our body.

We always work from truth and humor to open our physical expression, gaining stage presence so that the clown shines on stage with all its truth.
